I've definitely noticed changes in my body the last few days. I've never felt so weak and worn out. It is so frustrating not being able to go out and do the things that I would like to do. My husband has been really good about getting me out in the sun. He's been taking me for rides in the car just to get some fresh air. I feel like a dog sticking my head out the car window. :) For the most part I've only been able to stand for a few minutes before I need to sit down to rest. I keep reminding myself that "I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me."
Here are some specific prayer request if you would feel moved to pray for me:
1. I need energy just to stand and walk right now.
2. Pray that my aches and pains would not come back.
3. When I sit to rest that I would actually feel comfortable and not restless and settled.
4. That I would have clarity of my mind. I feel at times that I'm living in a fog.
5. That my spirits would stay lifted up and that I would stay focused on God. That I wouldn't stay focused on how long the days feel.
Thanks for being such prayer warriors during this time in my life where I feel so helpless. Your words have been and continue to be a great inspiration to me and my family.

Becky, I haven't posted much because when I start to, I just can't find the right words. I want you to know (and I know you do) that your precious family is loved and prayed for by so many! God gave Keenon a dream when he was 5 and my mom was ill...that dream he shared with us gave him comfort straight from the throne to a 5 yr old. God will comfort Hunter's fears and he will carry you thru! Love ya, hon..
ReplyDeleteHi Becky, I know you don't know me, but I am a cousin of your wonderful husband's. My family & I live all the way out in LA, but I am close with your inlaws, the Sabellas. Anyway, I am in awe of both Robbie & your beautiful family, that I have gotten to know so well through Facebook. I just want you to know that I am always thinking about you, Robbie & your beautiful children. I also have two young boys, and cannot even imagine what you and your family are going through. But we pray for you all everyday. My children only ask to hear Jonas' CD when we are in the car, no one else 's. So, please know, that you and your family are loved, even by those of us who have never met you. We are praying & pulling for you everyday. You are incredibly fortunate to have a loving, supportive family around you. But you know that already. I can't wait to someday meet you & Robbie here in LA, or someday when we get back east. But until then, keep strong, keep faithful, and may God bless you on this difficult and mysterious journey He has sent you on.
ReplyDeleteP.S. My name is Nancy Thurston, it didn't show up in the comment, and I also wanted to say your sister-in-law's(?) photos of you and your family are absolutely beautiful, and convey the beauty of your family. Much peace & love, and I'm looking forward to hearing more reports as you heal on this journey. xxoo Nancy

Hi, Becky. I pray for you every time I think about you. I've told my kids about you and your family and now when we pray with them before bedtime, my 4-year-old little girl says, "Remember Becky." Thank you for allowing us into your world.
